Shanghai Donghong (SHDH) Pty Ltd is an Australian company based in Sydney, specializing in timber trading. Established in March 2012, SHDH has since evolved into one of Australia’s foremost timber exporters. The company operates through three major business units:

1. The Softwood Division focuses on exporting Australian pine log species.
2. The Hardwood Division supplies Australian hardwood species to international timber markets.
3. The Lumber Division coordinates SHDH’s extensive domestic networks to meet international lumber demand.

Currently, SHDH employs over 20 people across three different office locations. The head office is situated in Sydney, with an operational office in Newcastle. Additionally, SHDH maintains a robust sales team in Shanghai, China, providing outstanding sales support and customer service to its valuable clients in the region.

Marking a new phase of expansion, SHDH is establishing a new office in Vietnam to extend its reach into the South East Asian market. This move positions SHDH to become a leader in Australian timber export.

As a testament to its excellence, SHDH was a consecutive finalist in the Premier of NSW’s Export Awards for 2014 and 2015. The company is committed to international trading, actively seeking to develop new markets and educating buyers about Australian timber.

SHDH exports approximately 75 containers of Australian timber logs weekly (around 2,100 tonnes) to various Asian countries. With a dedication to supplying high-quality Australian timber products, SHDH aspires to be recognized as a premier timber exporter in the international market.
